 Reiki Therapy

What is Reiki?
Reiki is growing in popularity. In this practice, the therapist places his or her hands in a series of very light touches at various positions on the client's body. Reiki is not a massage, but a channeling of life force energy to the recipient.

Clients who receive reiki treatments often claim to have been helped with:

  • Relaxation
  • Pain relief
  • Stress management
  • Anxiety
  • Surgery recovery
  • Chemotherapy treatments
  • Depression
  • Headaches
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Arthritis

Many scientific studies have shown benefits for energy healing practices. Benefits include decreased anxiety, decreased pain, and an improved sense of well-being.  Based on the current positive indications of these studies, the National Institutes of Health is now funding further, rigorous clinical trials at major scientific centers.
